Hi, we’re Laura and Richard, the makers behind The Year Round Project. We’re a small, creative business based in Nottingham, UK, specialising in laser cutting and engraving, custom handmade rings, and handcrafted wooden décor and gifts.



Our journey began back in 2013 when laser engraving was just a hobby we enjoyed in our spare time. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something bigger—and before we knew it, we were building a business around the things we love to make.



We’ve always been passionate about working with our hands and tools, finding joy in creating beautiful, meaningful items from raw materials. Whether it’s a custom design for a customer or something we’ve dreamed up ourselves, we pour care and attention into every piece we make.
