Our Aztec calendar crystal grid board is laser cut and engraved from clear acrylic. This material and method of manufacturing highlights the wonderful detail of this ancient design.
The Aztec calendar (Aztec sun stone) is a dating system.
The calendar was used in ancient Mexico before the breakdown of the Aztec empire.
It comprises of a ritual cycle and sacred calendar of 260 days (day count) and a 365 day civil cycle (year count).
This is considered to be the agricultural calendar as it is based on the sun.
These are made to order. Available sizes are: 4/6/8/10 inches.
