Solid English oak altar pentacle. A beautiful addition to your sacred space as an altar tile or for travel altars.
The pentacle is a tool of protection. It is a magical object.
Its five points symbolise the elements within nature; the apex representing spirit followed by water, fire, earth and air. Its surrounding circle reflects unity, balance and harmony.
The sacred wood oak is symbolic of strength, wisdom and resistance. It also has associations with marriage and fertility.
The oak tree has associations with the element of fire and is linked with deities that have power over thunder, lightning and storms.
We have designed this English oak altar pentacle in a 3 inch version which is perfect to be used as part of a travel altar. We also produce a 4 and six inch version which can be used as an altar tile and larger as a wall hanging.
The pentacle is approximately 8mm thick.
We cut this design all the way through in the centre giving definition to the design.
Engraving of this pentacle shows off the wonderful grain and texture of this wood.
