Wooden rune set-Elder futhark alphabet
Our wooden rune set is laser engraved with a Celtic band onto solid oak with one of the 24symbols from the Elder futhark alphabet making it an awesome gift for you or a friend.
The runes are laser cut in a decagon shape and engraved with a celtic band around the letters. It is then finished with raw linseed oil to seal.
Our wooden rune set is engraved onto english oak but traditionally runes were carved and made from stone, wood, bone, metal, or a hard surface similar to these.

Rune size are approximately 38x40mm.
The 25th rune is blank and symbolizes the unknown (we include this).
Each rune set comes with its own handmade cotton drawstring runebag. These are available in purple and green.
Oak is symbolic of strength, wisdom and resistance. It also has associations with marriage and fertility.
Runes are a tool of divination used to channel into higher energies.

11.Isa- ice, letting go, standstill
12.Jera- Earth, harvest, the cycle of a whole year, success
13.Eihwaz- the yew tree, strength, patience
14.Perth- initiation, a secret thing, acceptance
15.Algiz- protection, sanctuary, healing
16.Sowilo/Sowelu- the sun, wholeness, vitality
17.Teiwaz- warrior, perseverance, courage
18.Berkana- birth, growth, earth mother
19.Ehwaz- the horse, movement, progress
20.Mannaz- the self, manifestation, divine union
21.Laguz- flowing water, creative forces, intuition
22.Inguz- fertility, new beginnings, fruitfulness, harmony
23.Dagaz- daylight, transformation, breakthrough,
24.Othila- ancestral, inheritance, loss
25.Odin- The unknowable (blank rune)
